WELCOME TO OUR CLUB

The Cronulla Sharks Leagues Swimming Club was formed in 1969; two years after Cronulla Sutherland entered the NSW Rugby League competition.

Our home is the Cronulla Sports Complex located at 1 The Esplanade CRONULLA, next door to the Cronulla Surf Club where we run Club races every Tuesday night all year round. All interested future members are welcome to come along any Tuesday night and have a trial swim.

There are currently 60 members comprising female and male adults of all ages. Children of members are welcome to attend as visitors but on reaching 18 years of age, when eligible to become members of the Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, should become members of the swimming club.

The club meets at the Cronulla Sports Complex, Cronulla on every Tuesday at 7:30pm. Races commence at 7:45pm sharp. Events on the night comprise of 50m, 25m and choice of 100m, 200m and 400m swims.

The club committee meets on every 3rd Tuesday of each month at Sharks Leagues 9:15pm and hosts a BBQ on the last Tuesday of each month after the swim, known as our “Can Night”. We also run two major carnivals a year – Shark Shield & Winter Carinival - for other swimming clubs to compete and during the year we visit a number of away carnivals hosted by other clubs.
